My Grades Are In

Luther-posting-95-theses-560x366My grades for the spring semester have been posted.

Communication Analysis = A-

Power and Privilege = A

Forgiveness = A-

Exploring Place: Humanities = A-

I am very happy and thankful.  I was trying to get a perfect 4.00 GPA, but the three A minuses messes that up.  At the end of the previous semester my GPA was 3.78.  Those three A minuses brought it down to 3.76 now.  The only thing that would make it go higher is a minimum of straight A’s.  That does not make me happy, but it is  what it is.  I am going to shoot for A + for both of my last two classes in the fall semester.

I am going to celebrate my good grades today!

    Congratulations. Fwiw, a lot of employers would not take a 4.0 average seriously — they would assume you took classes that were too easy. A demanding university should not be giving out 4.0s!

      To me there are no “easy” courses in college, even when it is a subject that you love. Anyone that can get through earning a 4 year college degree with at least a 3.50 GPA has my respect. 🙂

    Xenia!!! Congratulations! Do not scorn the A-‘s, some professors would die before they give an A or A+!
    When I went to medical school, I graduated with a 3.99!! I wanted to scream. My professor of pathology took off one point for a spelling error I didn’t catch in one of my papers.
    In my mind, I got a 4, and let it go to keep from committing murder…LOL! The irony was that a few years later, he applied for a job in my practice. I hired him. Bet he never saw that coming. 🙂
    You are A+++ in my book, always!
    By the way, did you happen to read the chapter from “Shadow of Night” that Dr. Harkness posted on Facebook? Spectacular and tantalizing!
    Blessings and again best wishes on your fabulous grades!

      As far as I am concerned your GPA was a 4.00 Callaluna. 🙂

      I am surprised to get an A minus in my Forgiveness Residency. I was expecting an A.

      Did you mean the chapter from “The Book of Life”? I saw her post a link so that you can read one chapter from the third and final installment. I read “Shadow of Night” twice. I will be reading books books again in June to refresh my memory for when TBOL comes out in July.

        Yes of course! THE BOOK OF LIFE! I must stop posting late at night! My brain is fogged all day after. Time to hang from the rafters in my gravity boots!
