Musee’ d’Orsay, Paris, France

Day and night views of the Musee d’Orsay which is on the left bank of the Seine River in Paris, France.  It was originally a railway station named Gare d’Orsay.  The Musee d’Orsay holds the largest collection of impressionist and post impressionist paintings in the world.  The museum also includes sculptures, furniture and photography collections.  The Beau-Arts building itself is an extraordinary work of art inside and out.

    How I love this place…How I love this city – Everything is so magical here. I get goosebumps when I think about standing in the presence of so much beauty. I prefer the Musee d’Orsay over the Louvre. I left bits and pieces of myself all over this city…so that I would have a good reason to return one day.:)

    A co-worker of mine just spent his vacation in London and Paris. He told me that he loved the Musee’ d”Orsay more than the Louvre so that is what prompted me to do this post about it. I am so pleased that you enjoyed it.
