Mid-Century Modern Homes

I probably will never buy one, but I do love mid-century modern homes.  I don’t really go for modern designs, but I love the openness and use of glass for walls in mid-century modern houses.  I think it would be fun to own one.  I would not fill it with modern furniture.  I would stick to my vintage shabby chick decor to give the sharpness of the interior of mid-century modern homes a more cozy look and feel.

Mid-century modern houses also blends the outdoors in with the home by the use of glass walls and skylights.  These two examples of mid-century modern homes are gorgeous.

    Hi Xenia!
Thanks for posting this beautiful mid-century bungalow with the amazing stone fireplace! Could you tell me who the architect is and where you found the pictures? I am searching for ideas for my new house and up to now, this is the closest to what I am looking for.
